On Sunday we had a dinner to celebrate mummy’s birthday. I was dead tired after the relay and didn’t make it to the Hari Sukan Morning Crew the next morning but went home for lunch & dinner instead.
Funnily enough..my parents craved McDonalds (very very rare occasion for our family).

*My father was convinced that my BigMac was bigger than his*

*So he tried persuading me for a bite*

*Caught in the act by Denise*

*Oh yummy BigMac*

*I told daddy that the only reason why my BigMac looked bigger was that because I’m small*

*And of course his is smaller..sudah makan what*

*Lookit his disappointed face*

*So dad tried to bargain*

*And when that didn’t work, he threatened*

*He finally resorted to pulling me hair. I caved & gave him a bite*

*Denise happy with her meal*
After lunch we spent a boring few hours at Giant while mum went to get ‘garlic’. Garlic it seems. Sheesh.

* A bored Denise climbed onto one of the free rides..but was sad when it didn’t work*

*Bored picture of her*

*Bored picture of me*
More super bored pictures of us later, my parents finally emerged from Giant. We went home and blah blah blah, before we knew it, it was dinnertime.
We were supposed to go to Las Caristas but ended up at Vietnam Kitchen in the end.

*My dad ALWAYS finds a way to insinuate his way into my pictures*

*Daddykins*

*A still bored Denise*

*My filter coffee, mum’s chestnut drink*

*Fooooood*

*We were given a small bowl of hot water & a brush, and this transparent wrap*

*First, moisten wrap with said water*

*Next, add ingredients & sauce, and wrap like popiah. Nomnomnom*

*Our feast + Denise’s vegetarian dishes*

*My filter coffee again, love this stuff*

*Dad’s refreshing apple/honey/mint soda drink*
No more pictures after this because I was too busy eating. We had pork belly, mango duck, sesame chicken, some fish dish, and more. Yum.
Went back happy and napped while the family watched a movie. I was still trying to recover from the night before. Signs of old age, I tell you.
It was such a shame Darren couldn’t join us, but you know what, there be many years more to come
